Gretchen Frances Bennett

In 2014, GretchenFrances Bennett presented drawings and a reading, for postgraduate studies at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. In 2012, her work was included in shows at Ditch Projects in Springfield, Oregon and at The Hedreen Gallery, Seattle University, Seattle, Washington. In 2011, she developed a temporary work for the Seattle Art Museum Olympic Sculpture Park, and her work was featured in the exhibition HEEL GEZELLIG, Grimm Gallery, Amsterdam. In 2010, she was awarded a Lower Manhattan Cultural Council residency on Governors Island and a studio residency with The Association of Icelandic Visual Artists, Reykjavik, Iceland. Her work was included in the 2010 Seattle Art Museum exhibtion, Kurt, along with a video, I don’t blame you. She was recently awarded a residency with The Corporation of Yaddo. Bennett received her MFA at Rutgers University in 2001. She is a member of the artist collective, Seattle Catalog LLC (Sea-Cat).
